Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll look at it (I love TD games). I try not to spend so much time on games anymore (I used to play until everything was done), but now I have like 20 games waiting for my attention.

That’s true. Actually I’ve been playing Patapon 2 since the day it was released. I stopped for a few months and started again just recently this month (my school holiday). Well, I’d recommend playing PixelJunk Monsters if you haven’t played it before. I’ve completed the whole game, but playing it again in hardcore mode. It’s a tower defense game, just so you know.

Congrats on the staff.

No I’ve never gotten a boss up to that level, I got bored way before reaching that. I never even actually completed the ultimate farming team because, well, I noticed that there wasn’t much point in continuing to farm after getting all the divine and demon weapons and building a few level 10 ultimate rarepons.

Sigh. Never mind. I’ve been hunting for it for a long time and yesterday I actually found it – in Underworld Tank Zugagang Rebuilt – but I didn’t manage to obtain it in time before it disappears. Imagine my frustration. I’ve acquired all divine & demon weapons but the soothing staves would help greatly in my future farming, like hunting the Plant Shookle. It really is a pain in the ass when my ‘farm-ers’ at the frontline keeps falling asleep. Anyway, I’m wondering if you’ve gotten any bosses to level * (level 100, or so they say)?

Sorry Tony, I don’t remember where I got my soothing staves. After farming for a while you should get all the normal weapons though.

Yes, the Great Thunder staff (or any staff that produces thunder) is a great weapon to use with Tree-pon Mahopons because they cause multiple hits which all have a chance to stagger.

That’s a great tip. May I recommend farming using Level 10 Tree-pon Mahopons equipped with Great Thunder Staff?

Hi. I’ve been looking for the Soothing Staff really hard and I just can’t seem to find it. I’ve completed the entire game, by the way. I’ve been trying to google it but only to no avail. The info on where to get this weapon is very limited. I thought maybe you can help. Thanks!

Great tips! However I am striving to get a Mushroom-Pon Yumipon army (all 10) Tree-pons for Yaripons, which will cause the boss to fall asleep and stagger uncontrollably. You can change the weapons according to the boss.

Also:

Doing a level 2 or 3 tree minigame then doing the dance minigame can be quite profitable!

That’s a good tip. I personally prefer fighting for money, I find the minigames become quite boring fast (plus I suck at the Mountain minigame).

Another good way to earn money is to fight the second dog/wizard boss (the one where the wizard summons meteors). With a decent army the fight doesn’t last long and it can pay anywhere between 700 and 2000 (approximately) plus you get the chance to win good items.
